Come to Goa as part of a group or on your own. Come and play, hideaway, honeymoon or to meet someone new. Because Goa means a lot to all people - Where honeymooners and couples create lasting memories and families share special times together. Best of all, parents enjoy a tranquil vacation while the kids have a party of their own.

No matter who you are , all the tight knots os stress begin to float away like the birds riding the Goan breeze. Suddenly you wish your life would be this uncomplicated and uncommonly beautiful. Where even the simple act of walking on the white sands become a sensual experience. Where colours apear richer than the rainbow and the smiles of people are warmer than the sunshine. And where you don't have to worry about wearing a watch because the only schedule you follow is your own.

So come to Goa and to the Holiday Inn Resort.. Come now to do as you please, to unwind and remember when you are in Goa - Cool is the rule.

PLACES OF INTEREST

› Anjuna

The collection of people attracted to the beach settlement of Anjuna in North Goa may seem eclectic at first glance, but there are common (if loose) organic and spiritual threads woven between the hippies, artists, mild crazies and supposed ex-materialists who congregate here. It's famous throughout Goa for its Wednesday flea market, and has retained an undeniable if somewhat shabby charm. This is a good place to stick around for a while, make some friends and engage in mellow contemplation while the sun goes down. Full moon, when the infamous parties take place, is a particularly good time to be here if you want to indulge in bacchanalian delights. The main beach isn't the best, so it's worth the walk to the small, protected sliver of sand at South Anjuna where the area's long-term house-renters tend to gather.

› Calangute

Once upon a time, Calangute was the it beach for hippies, where pujas, ganja, drug-addled musicians and other lost artistic souls predominated, a beach of the truly half-baked that modern Leonardo di Caprioan versions couldn't hold a psychedelic candle to. But for those who still seek the occasional naked group frolic, Calangute has undergone a metamorphosis. The locals, who used to rent out rooms in their houses for a pittance, have moved on to more profitable things. Calangute is now the centre of Goa's rapidly expanding package-tourist market.

› Palolem

This impossibly beautiful crescent cove in the far south of Goa is so languid and balmy that even the water has only enough energy to lap half-heartedly onto the beach. There's nothing to do here but soak up the rays and go for long walks paddling in the shallows, so bring a friend, some factor 15 and a good book. It's possible to rent rooms in villagers' houses by asking politely at the restaurants lining the beach.

› Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

This small wildlife sanctuary in the lush foothills of the Western Ghats is a good place to see sambar and wild boar, and a fine place to escape from the beach culture of coastal Goa. It boasts a botanical garden, a fenced deer park and a zoo that is better than most. The sanctuary has accommodation in chalets and dorms, and is located 50km (30mi) southeast of Panaji.

You approach Goa Tourist Centre and Service Community Halls at Goa through Christian Mission only. Serve-oriented Centres do encourage women if they are really tourists and want a friendship but not otherwise. Indian Touristm Centres at Goa guide correctly. Your smooth approach and womanly behaviour alone keeps in good company. Be a wise women and act intelligently.

Goa...on a large picture is divided primarily into North & South Goa...North is more of the party crowd...whilst South is the quiter part of Goa....So at the end you need to decide if u want a part of it or a blend of both. I suggest you have a look at the either part of town & DECIDE on your own.

Goa is one of the most beautiful states of India. It’s full of colors. This picturesque state is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as the Konkan Belt. In Goa, you will find joy in abundance. Here you can find life in full bloom all the time. Goa with its magnificent scenic beauty and architectural splendors has become the firm favorite of both national and international tourists. Goa is not just beaches and sea, it’s more than that. You can find peace and tranquility at all places. If you are fond of laid back style, then Goa is the place to be in. The history of Goa is rich and varied. It saw 451 years of Portuguese rule. Definite Portuguese influence can be seen in the lifestyle and cuisine of the Goans. Besides the Portuguese, various Hindu and Muslim Kingdoms have left an indelible influence on the lifestyle of the Goans. Goa was liberated from the Portuguese on 19th December 1961 along with Daman and Diu. The people of Goa are lively and friendly. They are known for brotherhood. In Goa, people practice secularism in the best form. The best example of communal harmony can be seen in quite a place where Hindus and Christians worship together. The Damodar temple at Sanguem, the church of Our Lady of Miracles in Mapura, the Shantadurga temple at Fatorpa is excellent examples of this unique harmony of religions. Besides this, there are other festivals which are celebrated by both the communities. Tourism is one of the most important industries in Goa. This lovely state is known globally for its sea, golden sea beaches, hotspots, exotic locations and vibrant life. By nature, Goans are warm, friendly, easy going and large-hearted. They live life in style and at a leisurely pace. They are passionate about dance, music and art which are in their blood and they love their food and feni. The beauty of Goa is that whenever you come to Goa whether it is morning, noon or midnight, you will find the whole of Goa in fun mood. This lovely state provides lot of amusements to its visitors. If you love to drink outside, then you can check out the pubs and bars situated at all the beach sides and major cities. If you love the scenic spots, then just hang out at the local shacks on the beach anytime of the day and enjoy the oceanic panorama. If you are a party animal, then Goa has enough bliss in store for you as it has some of the finest night clubs and discotheques. Goans love their food. For most of the Goans, food means fish, curry rice and feni. Goan food has the flavors of Hindu, Muslim and Portuguese food. These flavors make Goan food an exotic mix of truly tasty and spicy cuisine. Tourists who come to Goa enjoy lovely delicacies to heart’s content. So, if you want abundance of joy, then come to this peaceful land.
