Can TAMILNADU do all alone as a seperate country, in case,if it is able to break away from INDIA?

Its my friend's wish. He thinks that the 'Nation' concept does not work, No state is sharing its waters, they build dams to restrict water flowing out to TN, and TN is fool enough to share its lignite.
(But I think, One can afford to live without lignite but not water!)

If TamilNadu secedes from New Delhi control then TamilNadu has to spend more on setting up its own armed forces (three wings) It has to have its own foreign embassies, ambassadors etc.,



Separate judicial systems, constitution, police has to be set up. All these expenses including education, health care has to be generated internally which will be enormous and not economically viable.



TamilNadu is a major contributor to India's GDP but still gets a share from the central government. So secession which may be glamorous may not work out economically and politically.



Even if TamilNadu secedes what guarantee is there that other states will give water to TN ?

Actually a separate TN will have to shell out more to get water and will not have recourse to supreme court judgments and tribunals to enforce Indian law to the limited extent we are doing now.

The Country India Wish to stay together no mater whatever issues in between states.



Apart from that water there are may countries doesnot have water resources , they are think lateral and finding alternate resources. water alone is not an issue.



As a country independent country so many things are there to consider.

I think your friend has not thought about how Tamilnadu will be after break up. It will become Karunanidhi family country and for a short while he will be the king and next will be Stalin. All others including the persons wished separate con try has to suck their Thumbs.



Yes TN is really a fool in not coming to any compromise and amicable settlement with the neighbouring States. They have only time to do dirty politics and accuse each other and while in power busy in swindling the State's and people's money.-
